Vocational & Training Services, Assessment Services, Medical Services,
Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation, and Complex Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation,
Prevention & Work Site Services. Organizations can chose one, two or more

to ensure the best results possible.
Assessment Services
Determining an individual's physical, psychological and
functional status is critical to the rehabilitative process. This can be tailored
for both newly acquired conditions as well as for clients who have had a chronic
illness or condition. For example, Millard Health staff are equally qualified
to assess soft tissue injuries as well as chronic or acute on set stress related
conditions. Millard Health's specialists provide assessment services to address
specific referral questions. Assessments are conducted at the Millard Health
Centre, at the work site, and even in the community and home.
Medical Services
An accurate evaluation of an individual's medical status
is critical to effective disability management or to set program goals. Our
professionals provide a range of medical assessments that include Medical
Status Examinations, Independent Medical Examinations and in-house specialist
consultations.
Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation
Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation brings together a team
of professionals to address the unique needs of clients. The resulting customized
programs focus on maximizing functional restoration, return to work capabilities
or return to quality of life for clients not returning to a work setting.

Complex Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation
The Complex Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation program at
Millard Health provides solutions for individuals with complex medical conditions
where significant pain or psychosocial issues are barriers to rehabilitation.
We focus on self-management techniques that break negative pain and disability
cycles. These are often individuals with diagnoses such as chronic pain, depression,
head injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. Our goal in these programs
is to enhance an individual's quality of life while maintaining a focus on
return to function and work.
Prevention and Work Site Services
Employers are becoming more proactive in their attempts
to minimize illness and injuries of the workplace. Increased cost containment
and quality of work/life are two major goals. Occupational wellness, prevention
and ergonomics are a specialty of Millard Health. These programs focus on
reducing the occurrence of illness and injury and the related costs, and facilitating
rapid and sustainable return to work when an injury has occurred.
