Millard Health has an interdisciplinary team of health care specialists ranging from physical therapists, physicians, and psychologists to occupational therapists. This diversity ensures all types of illness and injury get timely and appropriate treatment. It also means we can tailor our services to your needs, the employer's needs and the needs of the worker.

Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation (IR)
IR is tailored to the specific physical, functional, psychological and vocational needs of individuals who have not responded to acute care in the early stages of their injury.

IR I is for individuals who are less than four months post-injury with a mild sprain/strain and a minimal functional deficit. The focus is on physical conditioning, work simulation and involvement of the employer to plan a gradual or full return to work.

IR II is for individuals who are more than four months post-injury with a more severe injury and additional issues that often complicate recovery. The IR II program also includes psychosocial and vocational services to maximize results.

Complex IR provides solutions for individuals with complex medical conditions where significant pain or psychosocial issues are barriers to rehabilitation. We focus on self-management techniques that break negative pain and disability cycles.
